This is a full-color uncut and unfolded proof of the cover on glossy coated cardstock, including both the front and back covers, and is blank on the reverse side. Please note that this is NOT a mass-produced print or lithograph. It is a proof that is created during the production process for the comic. It features the famous image of Spidey perched in the web from Spiderman #1, by legendary comic book artist Todd MacFarlane, who first became well-known drawing Incredible Hulk, Amazing Spider-man, and Spiderman, before leaving Marvel Comics to co-found Image Comics with his creation of Spawn. The back cover shows the web-slinger in battle with The Lizard. The proof measures approximately 11 1/2″ by 14 1/2″ and it goes a little further on the bottom than what our scanner shows.
