This is a very rare example; one of a small number of 1950s Carl Barks covers known to have survived. The vast majority were destroyed by the publisher post-production. Condition & Details: Excellent! The page (paper) is closer to White than Off-White, and is both solid & supple. The inks are still dark and rich featuring clean outlining and high contrast from figure to background. Barks has used a small amount of correction fluid (both to redress some small details, and also as a highlight to further offset certain distinct white & dark values). Done on thick stock art paper, not board, Dell-size (approximate overall size: 18.75 tall by 13.75 wide; inner-art [Scrooge & scale] roughly: 9 tall by 10.5 wide).
