This is a production art cover that includes both the front and back covers side-by-side. It features the classic front cover image starring The Man of Bronze, with artwork by legendary artist James Bama, who is of course best-known for his incredible Bantam DS paperback covers featuring the brilliant pulp hero. To the world at large, Doc Savage is a strange, mysterious figure of glistening bronze skin and golden eyes. To his amazing co-adventurers – the five greatest brains ever assembled in one group – he is a man of superhuman strength and protean genius whose life is dedicated to the destruction of evil-doers. To his fans he is the greatest adventure hero of all time, whose fantastic exploits are unequaled for hair-raising thrills, breathtaking escapes and bloodcurdling excitement. ” The piece is blank on the reverse side, has a standard hole punch near the top edge (see picture), and measures approximately 8 3/4″ by 7. Please note there is also a bend mark/crease line that goes down the length of the back cover next to the left side edge. This does not really show in the scan, so please be aware of this.
