This is a full-color production art cover on glossy coated cardstock, including both the front and back covers, and is blank on the reverse side. Please note that this is NOT a mass-produced print or lithograph. It is a production art cover that is created during the production process for the comic. It features the famous image of Spidey perched in the web from Spiderman #1, by legendary comic book artist Todd MacFarlane, who first became well-known drawing Incredible Hulk, Amazing Spider-man, and Spiderman, before leaving Marvel Comics to co-found Image Comics with his creation of Spawn. The back cover shows the web-slinger in battle with The Lizard. The piece measures approximately 11 1/2″ by 14 1/2″ and it is in very good condition, with some small indentation crease lines near the lower edge. This is in the blue border area and does not really show in the scan, so please be aware of this.
