In the scanner it comes out dark, but in person it’s much lighter. So the actual item looks much nicer when you see it in person than the picture here shows. Also, Venom and the black symbiote strands of his costume are imprinted into the cover, so you can actually feel it raised off the cardstock (sort of a physical 3-D effect).
