It is the preliminary artwork to the cover for the 2017 Terrificon program guide. Please note- the sketch is real. It is not a copy, print or pre-printed image. It is a one-of-a-kind original and is signed by Kitson. It is drawn on rice (tracing) paper. The finished cover to the program guide itself is shown for reference but is not included in with the listing. The listing is for the preliminary piece of art only. As can be seen, the preliminary sketch included Aquaman but he was removed from the piece (Superman was moved to his spot) to make room for the Terrificon super hero/mascot to stand next to Batman (the Adam West Batman as West was to be one of the featured celebrity guests that year but, sadly, he passed away shortly before the convention). Excepting pack-pulled autograph trading cards, CGC Signature Series, signed Sideshow prints, and like collectibles, all autographed items Vault Collectibles sells were personally witnessed, by myself, being signed by the writer, artist, or celebrity in question. No third party is involved. Further, art sketches – and most published original art I sell – were obtained directly from the artist themselves.
