









This listing is for a Bill Ward signed original painting. It is hand drawn and painted (water color). This is an original commissioned piece created by Bill Ward himself. The painting is based on the original cover he created for the Military Comics #30 dated July 1944. See the last two images of this listing for reference. This piece features the DC Comics Superheros Nighthawk and chop-chop. The Blackhawk characters first appeared in Military Comics #1 in August 1941. OUTSTANDING piece of DC Comic and superhero history. Measures approximately 18″ X 20″ framed. The condition is fantastic with no visible defects. There are a few dings and scratched on the frame itself but nothing major. Bill Ward is a very well known artist and cartoonist from the 40’s and on.
