Pencils by Jim Calafiore and inks by Mark McKeena for. #14 Story Page 22 Original Art (Marvel, 2007). A bold 2/3 splash page that sees the unstoppable Juggernaut stopped by Cyttorak’s revelation that Charles Xavier was meant to wield his power! Pencil and ink on Marvel Comics art board. Signed by McKeena in the right margin and in excellent condition. This is not printed blue lines. This is the original pencils and inks, which was the style/method Calafiore and McKeena used throughout their collaborations. This page is the real deal. This is the concluding page of the issue. An overlay of Professor X (as seen in the actual comic page) would have been used over the art board for the effect that is seen in the printed comic version. I do not have the overlay and do not know if it still exists. Interestingly, on the backside of the art board, you can see the faintest outline of a portion of the image of Professor X that would have been part of the overlay. I tried to photograph it, but it just can’t be seen via the digital photograph. Still, a wonderful last page splash of Juggernaut. Just a really nice illustration of the Juggernaut in almost every panel!!! Perfect for framing and display!! Comic issue that art is used in (seen in attached pictures) will also be provided to the winner of the listing. Use the detailed attached pictures as your guide to condition. Have been a serious collector for 35+ years. I know how to package artwork so it arrives to you safely and in the described/pictured condition. It will basically be “bomb-proof”. Item pictured is the item received. Check my other listings for more CGC key comics and original comic art.
