NORMAN ROCKWELL 332 MAGAZINE COVERS BY CHRIS FINCH HUGE COLOR PLATES NF. This very large hard cover book (12 x 15 ΒΌ x 2 inches 455 pages) was prepared by Christopher Finch and published by the Abbeville Press of New York dated 1979. The book is bound in dark green cloth boards with darker green decorations on the cover and a white and gilt title panel on the spine; it is protected by a glossy pictorial dust jacket. Please see the photo of the Table of Contents for your further information. And as the title indicates this book is practically cover to cover examples of Norman Rockwell’s fabulous cover art. Often full-page and full color. They are presented chronologically with each section opening with a guide to the plates which followed in the Saturday Evening Post and a short and interesting explanation of each. This book is in near fine condition, something surprising given its age and unwieldy size. The dust jacket is very clean and bright without edge wear but some minor scuffing to its glossy finish. The hard covers are clean with a very narrow band of faint fading along the upper & lower edges and some minor bumping to the corners and spine tips. Inside the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. International and Canadian buyers should be aware that this.
