Artwork is 8×12 inches. Howard Rees, born in 1941, is an American artist known for his landscape paintings and contributions to toy design. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles in 1964. Rees began his career with Ford Motor Company in England and later in Detroit, where he contributed to the design of the Mustang line. He subsequently worked for Mattel Toy Company in California, designing many of the red line era Hot Wheels cars. In 1975, Rees transitioned to a full-time painting career, working with both watercolor and oil mediums. His subject matter includes Americana, local Gold Country scenes, European street studies, and expansive vistas. It will be under my discretion to accept or not, and I will not tell you the reason why should I decide not to. I may not even offer it especially if item does not sell for more than the starting price. I will send you a message telling you what it will really cost. I won’t even charge you for my time and materials should I make that mistake, and only charge you the exact amount indicated by the post office. We would meet in a public place.
