This is one of Gray Morrow’s nicest works. It was done as a portfolio piece and for his own enjoyment (as most of his best art was). It was featured as the back cover of the Visionary biography by Insight Studios. It is rare to find such a high quality painted work by this true master. Great for the art collector or a kids room! An amazing show of this true master’s ability to do a variety of styles from Tarzan to movie posters to TV cartoons, etc. Gray loved the Visionary book that he proudly shared with his friends Al Williamson and Frank Frazetta. It is no wonder they both appreciated his work so much at that this piece was featured so prominently. Added some shots of the amazing detail and facial emotions on this painting (also the signature which is very light and hidden to not detract from painting).
